The first piece from the new collection is a handmade ring of 20kt gold made in the old world tradition of hand-made jewelry. From his early days as a dentist, remembers Dr. Kovel fondly how he learned the art of placing gold on the teeth to form fill from a South African dentist teacher. The mystique of gold directly to work in beautiful forms have been indelibly etched in him ever since.
